Top seed Emma Navarro leads a strong field in Austin, with former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu bringing Grand Slam pedigree to the draw and opening Center Court at 11 AM. Several players with deep Grand Slam runs and Top 10 experience are also in action today, including Paula Badosa, an Australian Open semifinalist in 2025, and Donna Vekić, a Wimbledon semifinalist in 2024, adding plenty of firepower to the field.

Navarro begins her campaign against New Zealand’s Lulu Sun. Sun reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2024, the same year Navarro made her own run to the quarterfinals at the All England Club. Navarro later pushed even further, reaching the semifinals of the US Open and breaking into the Top 10 for the first time in her career.

Elsewhere on Center Court, it’s an all-Croatian matchup as Donna Vekić faces eighth seed Petra Marčinko. Spain’s Paula Badosa will also make her first appearance in Austin when she takes on Romania’s Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

Thailand’s Lanlana Tararudee earned her spot in the main draw after defeating local wildcard Malaika Rapolu in qualifying. She’s had a strong start to the 2026 season, highlighted by qualifying for the Australian Open in January and reaching the semifinals of the WTA 125 Mumbai Open in February. She now faces Hungary’s Dalma Gálfi.
