Hao-Ching Chan and Miyu Kato are our doubles champions!

Second seeds Hao-Ching Chan and Miyu Kato captured the doubles title in Austin, defeating Isabelle Haverlag and Sabrina Santamaria 6-2, 6-3 in the final. Chan, a former world No. 5 in doubles, has reached one Grand Slam doubles final and three mixed doubles finals, while Kato owns five WTA doubles titles and won the 2023 French Open mixed doubles crown. The title marks Chan and Kato’s first WTA 125 crown as a team.

Haverlag and Santamaria also put together a strong run this week, upsetting the top seeds before deafeating Petra Marcinko and Aldila Sutjiadi 6-1, 6-3 to earn their place in the final.
