Himeno Sakatsume (born August 3, 2001, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese player known for her strong baseline consistency and composure on court. She reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 164 on June 12, 2023. Sakatsume has won seven ITF singles titles, including a notable victory at the W80 Gifu in Japan in 2023, along with one ITF doubles title. In 2025, she qualified for the Hong Kong Tennis Open and upset former world No. 4 Sofia Kenin to reach her first WTA quarterfinal. She made her Billie Jean King Cup debut for Japan in April 2023, representing her country on the international stage.
